The stallion was doing good to avoid most of her attacks but then she could tell by his scarred skin that he was experienced in the art of battle. He also had the confidence of an older stallion so he'd probably been through this more than a handful of times. When Shaydowfax jumped in, he stepped back as if to study her than laughed. Illusion only glared in his direction, ready to fight with her leader if need be. Suddenly the stallion turned to Shaydowfax, telling her that he looked forward to seeing her in battle and that she should pop the kid out first cause she would need all the strength to beat him. Illusion snorted and tossed her head, her tail flicking at her flanks in irritation. Luckily the stallion gave up the fight though, heading back to the water even as he continued to laugh. Shaydowfax had held her own, even being heavy with child. She told him that she would put him in his place and not to touch those that wanted to be here. As the mare came back to Illusion, the palomino sighed in contentment and raised her own head to Shaydowfax's withers to groom her as well. At the other's question, she nodded. "More agitated than anything. How about you?" She eyed her lead mare's round belly, hoping that didn't endanger the unborn foal.
