He didn't know what Liland had to go through to get this place or to keep it and he certainly didn't know what hard ships Liland might have faced with his mares or love or any of that. But something about the cream stallion just seemed worried like he held the weight of the world on his shoulders. Kamekaze felt that maybe him being here could be a good thing, if he could earn the stallion's trust and help with some of that burden. Maybe if he could show the other stallion that he was worth having around, then he could alleviate some of that tension so Liland could relax a little. It was worth a shot anyway. As he moved over to Liland's side, the other stallion lifted his head and said that they hadn't been in the Bay long, just since the beginning of Fall. He said that he had to fight for it from a stallion who was placed here by his father. Kamekaze tilted his head. "That happens? You can get a herd just by inheriting it? I thought you had to earn it through battle. Guess I learn something new every day." He said the last part more to himself than anything but it was a curious thing to hear about. He shook his head a little and then looked at Liland again with a little grin. "Guess that father felt a little stupid after his son couldn't even win a fight to keep the herd he gave him."
