There were many reasons she chose the dunes at her home, one being no other land for her to stake claim to. The other being it did provide some protection, others were hesitant to come here and when they did, she was use to the terrain that others may not so the dunes would ultimately slow them down where as she has figured out how to traverse them without much problem now. Her tail flicked out as she stood to converse with this unknown mare. If she knew she was thinking of taking off further in to her land without permission well this might of turned pretty nasty, this was her territory and it was up to her whether a stranger traverses it.

I find alot of stallions who prefer their pride to many other things sadly. She said softly. Liland for instance was bound by his pride, he had lived by it for so long it wasn't something he could just drop. She shakes her head hoping her friend was alright. Then there was Bjorn, she missed him so. He would of been her king had he stuck around, as it were he left for a different land. Her ears goes back as the mare apparently takes offense to her rejection of needing advice.Then take some advice yourself, don't be quick to give advice that sounds like you think the one your giving advice to knows nothing of what you speak. I may not of been here too long but I know these lands well now and I know the heat and the cold at night.I may not be a breed that comes from the desert but I do enjoy it here and my herd is doing quiet well. She said stomping a hoof almost wanting this mare to leave but no that wasnt the type of mare that Shaydowfax was. Or wanted to be.
