Rules• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders. • Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission. • All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say. • Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met. • You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page. • Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce. |

The first time he'd seen the mare from a distance, he couldn't get past how alone she seemed. There was just something more than skin deep about it, like she'd been alone for a while. Everything in her demeanor and the way she carried herself spoke of defeat and hopelessness, feelings he was very familiar with himself once upon a time. He didn't approach at first, figuring she'd want to put some distance between herself and the bachelor herd. Most mares did for who would want to stay here by choice? Sure, he had no qualms with the Lagoon, but he knew the mares were more like trinkets here, property to be tossed around at breeding season then set loose to spread their seed. He had yet to be a father through these means and really, he didn't want it like that. He craved something more. He couldn't get over the thoughts of the pretty mare in the Common, the one that the stallion Liland had approached and then dared to try to force her to his home. Unable to see such a beauty being forced to do anything, he'd stepped in, only for her to scold him for doing so without an offer of his own. He would never ask a mare to come here, not without telling them the whole story. He wasn't sure if he could protect a mare here, keep her from greedy eyes and wandering teeth. Until he was sure where he stood, he would fight for Cullen cause he was a good and fair leader. He was kind and had a good head on his shoulders. Collision knew what he was signing up for when he came here, but it didn't mean he had to go along with all of it. When he saw the mare again, he couldn't help himself. He had to know what ailed her. When she looked up and their gazes met, he'd paused, his whole body going still as he waited to see what she would do. He almost expected her to run, so he was surprised when instead she looked around as if searching for others before reaching her muzzle out. Snorting softly, he took a small step closer and reached his own muzzle out in response, welcoming her greeting. He kept his movements slow and his body language neutral, not wanting to spook her. His eyes gazed over her and the faint smell of blood that clinged to her coat though he couldn't see it on her. He wondered what she must have been through. "Hello, I'm Collision. This is the Lagoon. I've seen you before...around the outskirts. Are you injured?" His gaze wandered over her once more in concern, looking for obvious injuries though most of them looked days old.
