It was hard not to be confident and outgoing when one had accomplished so much already. She had come to the islands after all right? She had not magically landed there, There had not been a 'Now you see me, now you don't'. None of that. Annie had to swim of course to get to the islands. There was one in particular she had been keeping tabs on though. There was the Shore. It was quiet there and so, she had not lost the opportunity that her thoughts demanded of her.
Take it they screamed into her mind. Make yourself proud. You are bold and you are strong.
Who was she to say no to her thoughts? Sometimes perhaps, but this had not been one of those times. It is something that you get used to. She offered as she had been pulled to the present again. Sometimes it can be too cold to swim though. No joke there. Even Annie had those moment when she preferred the land to the sea. On those particularly cold mornings or nights. Yes, she strayed inland then. The sea was not always something she was in, but there were many a time one could have caught her taking a bath or a swim. Stretching those muscles was good after all. It did not always have to be on the land.
It is in the moments now though; that she's rolled into the dusty ground. Covering her coat in that muddy appearance. A good shake however had brought some of it off once she had risen to her hooves again. The water would rinse the rest off later on. It was still warm enough to where she could swim. Especially on the island of her choosing. That brought a curious question though; to Annie's thoughts.
It did feel good. No doubt about it of course. She was content to be dusty and fly free for the time being. What can you tell me about Atlantis? Do you know much about those who have taken a claim to the territories surrounding the Shore? Ah there it was. Inquiry to her new home's surrounding leadership. Would Collision Course even know though? Andreania wasn't sure but that was the only way to find out. Replies:
