Xiomara was nice enough to walk with him as he'd asked and he smiled in gratitude as they set a course through the island. She seemed lost in thought for a moment so he gave her time to get lost in her mind, his own wandering as well to Paradise and if Galexia missed him as much as he missed her. Sure, he thought of Solaris too, but more wondering if she was still mad at him and blamed him for what happened. When he made his semi-joke, he saw the mare suddenly freeze, her ears flicking back uncertainly and he immediately regretted it. Now she just might run you back into the freezing water like the idiot you are. He stopped too and tensed up, unsure of what was going to happen next. When she suddenly moved closer to him, his skin shivered at first at the new contact, but as her warmth seeped into his skin, he felt himself relax a little and his shivering slowed down before stopping altogether. He felt his breath leave him in a soft sigh of relief before he realized he was probably coming off as dramatic. He glanced at her nervously, still unsure of what she was thinking. His lips tugged into a small smirk even as his eyes watched her warily. "Th-thank you. I'm not asking you to do this all the time or anything. I think the water just made me colder. Um...so what have you been up to since we last met?" He was stalling, looking for distraction so he didn't have to think about how nice it felt being pressed against her. Solaris would throw a fit if she knew. He felt himself getting warmer by the minute but he didn't expect this to last long. Surely she had plenty of other stuff to do.
