The problem always is an over entitled semiskilled consultant, who thinks that he/she can play God by doing one session per week and spending the rest in private practice. Hospital duties are expected to be managed by lesser mortals. Only way a semiliterate consultant can look good is by making others feel bad about themselves. Strong candidates are unwanted because that makes the semiskilled consultant look lacklusture in comparison! Therefore hire visa dependent candidates and keep threatening them with visa termination to keep them in line. Suits you, doesn't it?
