Rougaru continues his days as he always has, guarding his borders and keeping eyes and ears alert for possible challenge or intrusion. As of late, everything had been quite, like a storm swelling upon the horizon. Since his meeting with the other stallions, Rougaru feels the tensions building, the testosterone threatening to overwhelm their very world. Warsaw would claim the island chains as his own, to be divided among his followers and Rougaru was okay with that. Grant it he already pretty much had that going with his little agreement with Bjorn and now that strange little mare that claimed the Shores as her own... one that would need to be addressed soon but for now he had more pressing matters at hand.

He pauses now to gaze upon his loosely gathered herd, nearby Vasilisa grazed in the shadows of the thick trees whose branches had been made bare by the sudden onslaught of a winter storm. Warm breath blasts past his nostrils, a vapor engulfed by the cold air. She had long been a member of his herd. His jaded beauty whose quick temper found it easy to push his buttons. Their strife had gone on long enough that he felt the tension arise with the changing seasons. He would never bend to her, just as he would never bend to any other... but one war on the verge was enough to send him tromping through the snows in her direction.

"Vasilisa..." the words fall from his lips in quiet tones as he fixes his multifaceted green eyes upon her now. She might not have liked him, might speak her harsh words against him but still she remained loyal. "You and Monster seem to have gotten closer lately." he begins stepping forward to paw away snow with thick saucer like hooves. He knew that she, like Monster, hated to be coddled but it was a simple gesture and and he bent his proud head to snatch a mouthful of buried grasses for himself. It was a start.
