Izizel finds her eyes wandering to the skies far too often to be polite, but she isn’t exactly well versed in the nuances of conversation. She’s used to it being just her family, a tight-knit group of half a dozen horses who would do anything for each other. Her bright blue gaze is unwavering on Liland when he speaks, however, something her mother had instilled in her.

She smiles gratefully when he doesn’t push the issue of her staying. Still, it’s wonderful to know she’ll have a friend to stay with if need be, or even just to visit if she finds herself a permanent home somewhere else. ”Thank you, Liland, you’ve been very gracious,” she says warmly.

She’s impressed with him; the courtesy with which he’d treated her despite her basically being a trespasser reminds her of her father. Izizel’s seen so much of Zevulun in Liland just in this one meeting, from his vigilance to his concern to his dedication to his family. If she’s ever feeling particularly homesick, she knows who she’ll seek out.

Her eyes widen slightly at his warning about his neighbor and she cranes her head in the direction of the inlet. She hadn’t been old enough to wander across the border into the other territory and thus had known nothing about who had lived there while her family was in the bay. The thought of someone unsavory living there is unsettling.

”I’ll head out the same way I came in and be vigilant,” she promises. She wouldn’t want to cause Liland trouble over her, a mare who doesn’t even live with him. ”See you later, Liland,” she adds, tossing her head in a farewell nod before turning on her haunches and heading off at a brisk trot. She does want to get off Tinuvel before a blizzard blows in, and now she has a potentially dangerous leader nearby to watch out for. But she’ll definitely be back.
