I work in public and private. My private work is just that: private. It does not impinge on my public commitments. When I work at the hospital I turn up on time and leave late. ImI support my staff and look after my patients. I do my on-call.

What a consultant chooses to do in their own time (mine is not paid for by a hospital) is entirely up to them.

If on the other hand someone is neglecting their contractual obligations to a health board that employs them, then that is a different matter and needs to be looked into. But on a Internet forum? By anonymous posters? With no supportive evidence? Meh. Jog on mate.
