Her gaze swept over the rest of the herd, wondering what answers they would give. The older mare said that if her father called them to war, she would be there for him and Monster's ears pricked with interest. So was Warsaw her father? Monster would hold onto that information for later. She, too, watched the interactions between Calypso and Rougaru in mind. He kept looking at the mare in worry, like she might break or something right before his eyes, and the mare looked at him like...well, it was hard to explain. There was really no emotion there, like she could care less one way or another. This intrigued Monster. Did something happen? Did she not care for him as he did for her? Monster had yet to see a mare that didn't fall to Rougaru's charm. When the talk turned to war, Calypso stepped forward only to say she was not a fighter and would not go to war. Monster only smirked, her eyes glittering in a "yeah, that's just what I thought" kind of way. Then the mare had the audacity to question, asking why Warsaw wanted war and asking if any of them wanted to know what they were risking themselves for. Monster snorted and said one word. "Loyalty. I risk it all for loyalty." She glared in the mare's direction before letting Rougaru speak. He said that the war might be spring or summer and that he wouldn't risk the foals for it. He looked then at Calypso as he said he didn't expect them all to fight. He then asked Calypso to watch over the foals and those who cannot or will not fight. At least he had a good use for her. Rougaru then explained what he knew of the feud between Warsaw and the Luthien queen. He went on to explain how they were strongest united and she stomped her hoof in agreement. Her ears turned to Vasilisa then as she spoke, saying she hoped they would wait till summer when the foals were older. She went on to say how she felt about herd dynamics and that she was loyal so she would fight. Monster smiled, glad they felt the same. Vasilisa said they shouldn't underestimate the queen and Monster nodded in agreement. No, they wouldn't make that mistake.
