The mare assured him that he would learn to love the Badlands and he tossed his head with a chuckle. "Maybe. We'll have to see." He watched with interest as the mare then turned her attention on Liland and stepped to him, not one ounce of fear in her stature. She really was different from other mares he'd met. Her words were a challenge if ever he'd heard one and Kamekaze's lips parted in shock. She went on to tell him he wasn't fit to be king and that she strolled in and took from him. Kamekaze shifted his weight. Man, she could really be pushy. Then she said they would be going and as she turned, she pressed her muzzle to his shoulder. He shivered at the touch but turned his gaze on Liland as he spoke. He told her that she hadn't taken from him and that Kamekaze could go if he wanted to. Then the stallion turned to him, asking if he wanted to go with her. Kamekaze smirked. "I think it'd be an awfully big adventure." Maybe it wasn't the answer Liland was expecting but as he turned to watch the mare jumping into the waves, he turned back to Liland. "It's been fun here, really. I like you. I'm just not sure I belong. I'd like to see if I can belong in these Badlands she's so proud of." He offered a smile. "I hope we run into each other again though." Then with a toss of his head, he turned and joined Daciana in the water, swimming to catch up to her and follow her to her island.
