It was hard to keep up with all the rumors on the islands lately and figure out what was fact and what was heresay. She'd heard that Zjeena was coming back to Paradise, that Liland had released her. That she was pregnant by Rougaru. That was certainly a turn of events she didn't see coming but she wasn't angry or jealous. She respected Zjeena and looked forward to seeing her again if she was truly coming back. She'd thought at some point, she might have run across a faint scent that reminded her of the cream mare but she'd thought at the time that it was a fading scent left over from when Zjeena was in Paradise before. Who knew? Only time would tell. Monster wondered what Rayna might have been up to since they last spoke. How much had she grown? It had been some months so Monster was sure she was getting bigger now, filling out. Becoming an adult. It tightened her chest just to think about it. She was pawing at the snow to grab up bites of grass when she heard the whinny and lifted her head. The voice sounded familiar but only when her ears pricked toward the filly coming toward her and she took in her scent did she perk up and whinny back. "Yes, Rayna, it's me." She called back out to her, a smile tugging at her lips as she waddled toward the mare. She really was growing up! Monster could see she had grown taller and was still lanky for now but her muscles had tightened and broadened, showing the sturdy mare she was going to be some day. It made Monster proud. She swished her tail and her eyes brightened as she looked the filly over. "It's nice to see you again. What have you been up?"
