Those who have strength and courage will never perish in misery;

To see the dismay upon his face as they stood there on the high rise, watching the young cream colored filly rambunctiously running back and forth among the other foals oblivious to the world beyond... well it almost brought some sense of guilt to her own heart. Almost. It was his own fault. Over and over the words taunted her mind until she felt thing fall from her lips. "Its your fault." she whispers, her words quiet even between the two of them. Anger festers inside her now, a rot like the growing foal that she now carried, sired by the damned gray stallion himself. She hated the life the fates threw at her and yet she knew that there was no escape. Not for her.

However Warsaw's sudden downfall had awaken a new concern for her offspring. While Nova had vowed upon conception that she would never truly feel for the foal, her daughter's innocence was something she strived to maintain. It was hard not to love Tuari. The flash of fear in Requiem's voice, the quick glances around to ensure that they were not seen... it gave her an idea. A hope that perhaps in this moment she might overtake the cruelty of the gods and create a freedom for her daughter at least. "I will keep silent..." she begins, letting her words linger between them for the briefest of moments. The weight of her request heavy upon her own heart for it meant she would be lost. "If you ask Warsaw for her." she breathes.

For a moment longer she is silent, pondering the words that she had dared speak aloud. She feared for Tuari, feared that in time, Warsaw would stay true to his word and that Tuari too would be ripped of her freedom and covered by her grandsire and his oblivion to her true lineage. "Take her away, make up some story, a lie best suited for your cowardly self. Whatever you must do but she must leave here. I will not stand by and watch Warsaw take her as he has done me." she murmurs, a sadness clinging to her tones. Tears threaten the corners of her pale eyes but she does not dare show such weakness, only sorrow at the thoughts of what might be. For a moment longer she watches Tuari, watches the laughter that glitters in her pale eyes and the amusement that curves her small muzzle upwards. Such innocence.

She pulls her gaze away from the filly now, turning to meet Requiem's nervous gaze with emotionless eyes of her own. She had once thought him her salvation. Hoped that perhaps even as short as it had been, she would be unforgettable and that he would ask for her as his prize. That wish had long been forgotten even if his hansom faced haunted her dreams. Now it was a mere reminder of the betrayal. "Do this or I will tell him myself. I will tell them all." she adds, nodding her head to the small gathering of mares he had acquired. Of course she felt fairly certain that none would care, but still... she was throwing every tooth she had into this fight.
