Her single seeing eye takes in all that is the Forest, the trees that stand stark against the cloudless sky to the grasses that grow plentiful on the sandy shores. This place contrasted sharply from the badlands with its shrubby trees and deep crevices that cut the earth. A soft breeze ruffles the Queen's dark unkempt tresses, tossing and drying them with its breath. Daciana is pleased when the soft thud of hooves in the grass reaches her swiveling ears, whoever rules over these lands is making their way to her.

From the shadows emerges a Queen much like herself, a smile touches the dark lips of Daciana. As the roan woman closes the distance between them, Daciana nods her thick head as a sign of mutual respect. It does not take long for the Forest Queen to introduce herself as Persephone, and politely welcomes her to her lands.

Daciana trains her single seeing eye on Persephone as she speaks. "I feel your welcome, Persephone," Daciana says with a dip of her crown. "I am Daciana, Queen of the Badlands. I come seeking an alliance between our two lands," she knows that this woman does not know her, but alliances are needed when there is such turmoil on these Islands.
