He has not seen Neon since Vita Nova called them all together to announce her new status and kick out Xiomara. Warsaw didn't even try to talk to her, but he knew she sided with Vita Nova. The two had gotten along for awhile now and Warsaw had liked it. Neon was a pistol when he first brought her home from the commons, but Vita Nova helped settle her into her new home.

Last season, she gave birth to a healthy filly and this season he remembers Neon saying she believed their foal was another girl. Their last conversation, before Xiomara had come, was so simple and nice. Warsaw remembers how calm they both were unlike their usual fiery converstations. He had thought their relationship was getting easier, but then he lost his Kingship. He had a plan with Xiomara, but no one else approved of it. He could have focused on just getting the Bay, but instead Vita Nova made the decision that Xiomara needed to go.

Now, he was left picking up the peices of his life and keeping his head afloat. Spring was here, his foals would be born, and he had promised the islands a war. Having just been defeated in battle by a stallion he didn't think would ever defeat him as left him in the dark. How could be command an army if he couldn't even defeat a annoying Ford? He needs to find inspitation, some of the fire he has lost from these string of loses.

His eyes rise from the path he walks to find what was left of the herd ahead. It didn't take long for him to spot Neon near the outskirts of the gathering with Neferyt and a blue roan foal at her side. Neon was the first bred so he assumes she would be giving birth first, but he did not know what he would be walking into aproaching her. He did so anyway. He nickers to announce his arrival as he nears the newborn and it's mom. "A filly." He says with his dark gaze finding Neon's. "You were right."
