Tarek's seed did not create Yngvar either, but that matters none to Tarek. If anything, Yngvar is more of a son to him than Blackout. With Blackout growing up mostly away from the forest, and away from Tarek, Tarek finds himself more bonded to his eldest son. He hopes to remedy this, now that Blackout is home, and now that Hannah will be tending to the twins. Blackout is the only one of his now four children that he knows for sure to be biologically his, and it pains him to think he missed out on so much of his childhood. There have been so many missed milestones, and so many missed memories.

Never again, will Tarek let any one else divide their family with distance, and Warsaw will pay for everything he's taken from them. Tarek does not plan to stand idly by in the war to come. He will fight for the safety of all those he holds dear.

Today, Hannah has given him two more reasons to fight for Luthien. Tarek breathes in their sweet, newborn smell. Looking in the face of his newest son, he sees a reflection of himself staring back at him. It is then that Hannah tells him the name of their daughter and bestows him the honor of naming the colt. Tarek looks at her, a mixture of surprise and wonder in his eyes. It's tradition for the mare to name the foals. Tarek never expected the opportunity to name any of their foals.

Tarek regards her with a warm smile, but the smile soon fades to contemplation. Several long moments of silence stretch between them. Not expecting to have this opportunity, he comes unprepared. It takes Tarek a while to land on a name, and when he does, it rolls off his tongue with ease. A perfect name, for a perfect colt. "Nagendra"

The colt hears his name for the first time, and somehow he knows this is a word that will follow him to the ends of time. He looks to between each family member with a sense of wonder, but how exhausting wonder can be. The newborn's mouth stretches wide with a yawn.
