live life to the fullest

Creed knew it shouldn't be long before Persephone made it to them. Her leader was always quick to come to a call. That's part of why the slender mare always felt safe here. When she did see her lead mare coming, she let out a gentle whicker of greeting, bowing her head in respect. She could see Persephone looked a little surprised to see her and Yngvar already there talking to Roheryn but if anything, it seemed to relax the bay roan a little. As Persephone greeted them, Creed smiled and pricked her ears. "Hi, Persephone." When her leader turned to Roheryn, she heard her ask if he was a friend and Creed nodded. She'd like to think of him as a friend, anyway. He was nice to her the one time they met anyway. Creed watched as Roheryn took in Yngvar first. It was true the colt had grown quite a bit in the two years he'd been in the world. He was really filling out.

She listened as Roheryn asked what Yngvar had been up to and she tilted her own gaze toward him, curious as well. When she asked about Primrose, Roheryn shook his head though and the black mare scowled sadly. "I'm sorry to hear that." She admitted. As Persephone came into view, the paint stallion was quick to straighten up and show respect to her rank. Creed smiled, glad to know a stallion with such manners. She pricked her ears toward the stallion as he said it was nice to meet the leader of the Forest and that he'd come there many times with his sister. He named off a stallion named Han too but Creed didn't recognize the name. He gave his full name to Persephone, saying he was formally of the Prairie before saying he was now a lead stallion of his own herd.

Creed perked up at that, pride making her eyes light up. She was truly happy for him, for moving up in the world even with tragedy on his heels. She still hoped he would find Primrose and that she would be okay. She also still hoped to help him in any way she could to find her. He said he came to ask for an alliance and she smiled at Persephone, sure that her friend and leader could find it in her heart to give it consideration. Then he said he had a question for her and Creed's eyes went wide in surprise as she swished her tail, suddenly nervous to be the center of attention. "M-me?" As he angled himself toward her, Creed tilted her head to listen, her ears flicking back nervously. When he offered her a place in his herd, she gasped in surprise. He'd want HER in his herd?

She didn't know what to say. She glanced at Persephone, wondering what her friend and lead mare would think. Should she take him up on the offer? It would mean she could take more initiative on helping him find his sister. But then there's the question of the ocean. How would she do it? She'd taken the first steps but was nowhere close to swimming on her own. She thought on it before she snorted softly. "I...I am honored, Roheryn. I just...I don't know..." She glanced awkwardly at Persephone and then toward the water. Sighing, she turned back to Roheryn. "I'm....terrified of the ocean." She almost whispered the words, shame evident in her tone as her ears flicked back. She hated admitting it out loud. She felt so weak.

At least Persephone knew about it since she'd helped Creed get here in the first place. But Yngvar didn't know until now. She listened as he told Roheryn that he was looking to stretch his legs. It sounded like he wanted to get out of the herd lands. He told her good day and she smiled and nodded. "It is a good day." She agreed. When she asked Roheryn about his sister, Yngvar didn't seem to know she was missing. Creed wondered if he knew Roheryn's sister. The black mare was happy Yngvar spoke up and said Roheryn was his friend, saying they played together when he ventured into the Prairie. He spoke up when Roheryn spoke of his new herd, saying he wanted to get some more experience outside of the Forest. He asked to join Roheryn and Creed couldn't help but look at Persephone again. How would she feel about all this? Would she be upset? Persephone was always so patient and calm.
