It was perfect, this trade. Cherokee for Nova was perfect in his mind because Cherokee was obviously so much cooler. She was nice and willing to stay here and talk with him while others didn't last long with his antics. He would reward her by showing her around the Inlet like she asked. He would show her all the good eating spots and where to find water. He would tell her how harsh winter was here and why she would need to get closer to the rest of the herd. There weren't many of them left in the Inlet so they had to rely on one another to survive.

He asks if she was pregnant because he sees how big her belly was. Ironclad is remained of what his mother looks like with her big belly. She said she was carrying his sibling, another child of Warsaw. His parents had been much happier before Xiomara came in, but the colt had hope things would go back to normal soon. He had hope that his parents did love each other still. His boyish smile fades as she speaks. She did not want to be pregnant? She says the stallion that gave her this baby had no manners, but Ironclad wasn't exactly sure what she meant by it all.

"Don't worry he won't hurt you here." He smiles at her again with a promise a young colt didn't know how to keep. He was certain father would help keep her safe from an intruder, but he would do his best too. He would kick this unknown stallion out himself if he had to. "Come on let me show you the forest!" His little tail wags as he leaps with excitement. He wishes Xiomara could have stayed with him two. Her and Cherokee could be his very best friends and one day his own mares when he got older.
