She shifts uncomfortably from hoof to hoof as she watches Rougaru, the father of her child, that now grows within her womb. She wants so desperately to scream at him, to yell at him, but all she can do is just stare at him with indifference. She can feel her resolve slipping away as he begins to explain. She drops her bicolored gaze to the earth at her hooves as he asks if you can tame the winds... well of course not, nor can you ask them to not blow. She swallows hard, gathering the courage to look into his emerald eyes. Despite the anger that had just boiled beneath the surface, she can not help but feel the truth of the words he now murmurs. He had never meant to hurt her, and this simple truth sets her heart thundering in her chest. It aches with the turmoil that she now battles. Everything that he has said is the truth, from the moment she has set hoof here he has been... kind. She drops her gaze. He is the father of her child and it was by choice, nothing else. "Oh Roug," she says just above a whisper as she begins to shake her delicate crown to and fro. "I am sorry," she says as she brings her bicolored eyes up to meet his deep emerald eyes. She dares to step closer to him, letting the space between them become just meer inches. His musky scent invites her ever closer until she can feel his chest pressing into her shoulder. She feels the emotion overwhelming her with every breath that she breathes, yet she holds her composure. She can feel his heart thundering within his chest. "I was scared that you had betrayed me, that you had hurt me," she whispers as she presses the side of her face into his barrel. Her next words are heavy with emotion, but she trusts he will not grow angry with her. "I didn't want to leave, and I was afraid you weren't going to come for me," she admits into the still night air. She had yelled at Shamwari and defended Roug from the accusations that he had thrown at her. Not Roug. He had been kind to her, but the seed had been planted. A seed of doubt. That quickly grew into a poisonous plant. For now, it seems that Rougaru has started the tedious process of culling the plants poison from Caly's heart, and she knows that he will not stop until her faith is restored in him.
