She honestly didn't know what kind of mother Shaydowfx was, especially with a newborn, so Desirie remains caustious. She trusted her lead mare, but a newborn foal could change a mother's perpsetive. Desirie knew this first hand especially when a foal in her old herd was born sickly. The only one allowed to see the child was their stallion, its father. Consequence had been a trusting stallion, strong and protective of his herd. She loved him just as she had loved Capricorn, but they all had left her behind. She never knew if Consequence was still alive or if he just abandoned his family those years ago. She knew Capricorn was dead after finding his lanky form dead in the sand.

Luckily, Shaydowfax still shows trust for her second mare. Desirie smiles as the buckskin reveals the name of her painted colt. She nods at his name, gazing to the newborn colt as he moves towards her own son. Shaydowfax offers a hello to Balavant and the colt's tail of fluff wags in responce. He smiles to both mothers and the foals nearby. It was Sauron that really caught his attention as the colt was just his size. Desirie raisrs her head as another aproaches them, but she relaxes when she sees it is Golden. The palomino mare was clearly heavy in foal and looks to be getting closer to her due date. She asks how everyone was doing so Desirie offers her a smile.

"Everyone seems to be healthy and in good spirits. Thank you." She says thanks as Illusion congradulates them and complements how handsome their sons were. "It will be any day now Illusion and you will have a baby of your own." She points her nuzzle at the mare's large stomach. Her gaze falls back upon Shaydowfax. "Our sons and Illusion's foal will be raised with three strong mares in mind. They will learn respect and be good for society in the future. Should their father's not be invovled we will be all that they need in life." She didn't know about everyone else, but Balavant's father was pretty unknown to her. Just a sperm donor for a good cause.
