He had that intent look on his face that always left her guessing. It was like he was trying to read her like a book, see all the secrets behind her eyes. She lifted a brow expectantly. "You know I can't read your thoughts and I can't tell you mine if you keep it to yourself." Tilting her head, she flashed him a micheveous grin, her tail swatting at her flanks. She knew of Celestria's betrayal and attempt to take over Paradise. It was a small herd and mouths talk. She also knew that Rougaru stepped up and challenged her and won his rights back, so she didn't feel it was worth arguing about. She only hated that he was probably taking it easy on the mare in turn. Celestria gave him a son who would probably get some kind of rights for being a boy and Monster felt that should have been forfeited when she stepped up against her lead stallion, but she wasn't the final say so she held her tongue. If he wanted to reward someone for turning on him, so be it. That's why he was in the lead seat and she just took back center stage beside Zjeena. She didn't mind that she was sharing her rights as lead mare. She never asked for power and she never would. She just held herself as she always had and let others fall in line as they would. She didn't try to manipulate others or step on any toes but she didn't care if she hurt some feelings while expressing her own. That was just who she was. When she mentioned Medusa's potential future mate, her lizard king agreed that she would probably choose one for herself and Monster laughed and tossed her head. "Perhaps. Or perhaps she'll just play hard to get when he chooses her." She said with a knowing wink. As he lipped at her cheek, she snorted and pinend her ears, her lips curled back to nip at his muzzle in retaliation. Medusa was having lots of fun playing with the stallion's tail. When she felt a muzzle nudge at her flank, she squealed and tossed her head before taking off bucking. She only managed to do two before her legs crossed and she stumbled, falling to the ground. Snorting in distaste, she got back to her hooves and glared at the two adults as if daring them to make fun of her before she swatted her tail and gave her body a shake, stumbling again as she lost her balance for a second but this time she was able to right herself. Right as the stallion said that the world would lay at her feet, she straightened up, nostrils flared as she stared between the two adults, almost as if she knew what they were saying and agreed whole heartedly. Monster just gave a smirk and reached out to lip at his mane teasingly.
