Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

*~My Next Collison Course~*

He was trying to read Argento's body language as he approached, but the stallion was making it hard to place him. The paint had a feeling this was more than just a friendly visit. Something must be on the spotted stallion's mind. Collison didn't mind being a listening ear and he understood the need to vent sometimes. He hadn't heard from Argento or Diamant since he escorted them here and he wondered what they'd been up to since re-joining the bachelor herd. Argento responded but Collision lifted a brow at the sarcasm in his tone. Maybe things were so well for them? He scowled thoughtfully, wondering if there was anything he could do to help. Argento gave off the impression that he might be leaving the herd and the paint snorted softly. "You don't sound happy, Argento. What's going on?"

His face softened in concern as he stopped before the stallion. He remembered how eager they'd been to come to the Lagoon when he first met them. Okay, so Argento was eager to get here, Diamant not so much. What changed that? Had something happened with Cullen? The stallion asked how he was and Collision shrugged. "Well, I guess. Eager for the war but a little nervous at the same time." He sighed and lowered his head, shaking out his mane. He felt like he could open up to Argento a little, let him know what he was thinking. "I haven't been in a war before and I know I'll mostly be fighting strangers. I don't know these other island horses or what they stand for, what they fight for. I'm not sure how that sets with me. Is that normal?" He tilted his head, curious of Argento's opinion. Would it make him disloyal to think of such things before a big battle?

He wanted to fight for Cullen and the Lagoon, but what was he really fighting for?
