The grullo filly was only a few days old and her mother has already left her in the care of a mare named Tigerlilly. Even over the two days spent with her mother the young filly can feel her mothers sadness and how she pretty much ignores her except to feed her. Her coat was even dirty when she came to be baby sat by Tigerlilly. Elerona didn't understand what was happening with her mother at all. She could see her mother cared for her but she was sad so sad it affected her behavior and she was left to try to clean herself and try to play with her self.
The young filly is asleep at Tigerlilly feet when her mother left them. So Elerona is out right distraught when she wakes up. She looks around desperately for her mother but does not find her. She knows Tigerlilly is producing milk despite not knowing where the mare's foal is but Elerona does not bother with that as she moves nosing her way to suckle from her for a few moments before pulling away and again looking around for her mother. Her little ears back. She looks to Tigerlilly desperate for answers.
