The House Democrats did not do a sufficent job preparing impeachment criteria and supporting facts, and proffered enough reasonable evidence for impeachment, and then tried to pass the responsibiity of preparing a more solid impeachment :"case" and then trying to pass the constitutional responsibility and authority to the Senate as the senate is only responsile for to vote to approve the impeachment. the constitution worked and there are now stricter requirement for impeachment of the President. Possibly the Democrats were blinded by strong emotional disgust from the shocking loss in the Presidental election shock. Strong emotional Hate can blind your logical thinking.
