Most of her time here, even before Legolas had been born had been spent with Cain. She had been drawn to him the moment he came near her and the moment she allowed him to mount her. She also knew he knew little of the ways of a wild horse. You could see it in his roughness and he never denied it. He even went as far as saying he wasn't sure if the other mares here cared to be here like she did. Under her guidance and care the rough stallion began to soften, to understand the behaviors or running free. He had been fearful to groom her back at first because she could see he was worried he hurt her. However, Geneva trusted him, she guided him and told him if it had been too rough or just right.

His behavior changed over the course of time and she wants to think the other mares may of seen it and may be content and happy here now that Cain wasn't as rough around the edges. But she had only briefly met Primerose. Who she could tell had been wary and nervous, probably because of Cain but had pushed herself over that and come and talked for a little.

Then after that Geneva spent most of her time with Cain. She liked him a lot and hoped he liked her just the same. She knew he respected and appreciated her. He probably would do anything she asked of him but when ever he asked her if she needed something her reply had always been the same, the only thing she wanted was his company and he gladly gave it.

Then Legolas was born and he seemed even more keen on pleasing her and making sure she was happy. Even though she didn't think she'd ever love this desert she would continue to live here if Cain remained here. She was loyal to him because she saw him as a strong stallion who could do the duty of a lead stallion and protect them.

But now that Legolas was a few weeks old and now playing with another colt and soon a filly joined them too. She knew she should interact with the other mares as well. They needed to bond, to find their status between each other. Geneva didn't want to make any enemies with them. No a herd needs to be united in every way but Geneva was not a low ranked mare either but she was more a diplomat then a fighter. Finally Primrose answers her call and comes over the land mass that separated them.

She said with a smile. One ear was always on the foals even though Zubeia the newest mare to their herd was intently watching the three. She would make a good mother herself some day. A good learning curve for the mare to babysit. This way she didn't have to take on the full responsibility but she still gets the experiance she will need to raise her own.

Soon the other mare, Vihaan she believes is her name joins them.Like wise, its is why I have called to the two of you. We all know Cain but we don't know each other enough. I believe in unity in a herd so I want to get to know the other mares hereShe said calmly.
