What fun to be had! She played around her mother's hooves, occasionally tugging the golden mare's tail and then laughing as she weaved between her legs to get away from the stomping back hoof that was only a bluff. Raptor knew her mother would never actually kick her. She'd been quick to figure that out and she played it to her own advantage all the time, pushing Illusion as much as she could before scampering off in a laughing fit. Causing trouble was just so much fun! Tossing her head, she ran over the dunes, only to slide to a stop when she heard her mother's urging call to get back in her line of sight. Snorting as she rolled her eyes, Raptor turned on her heels and raced back over the dunes toward her mother's figure as fast as she could. She leapt to the side at the last minute, only to trip and roll in the sand. Illusion was quick to her side, checking her all over with soft snorts and nuzzles as she checked for injuries but Raptor just nudged her away with a huff of indignancy before getting back up and shaking the dust from her coat. Now, where was she? Once her mother returned to grazing, Raptor snuck up on her, only to race past her head and kick out with both hind legs. She, of course, missed on purpose but Illusion still gave her a glare of warning as the filly laughed and raced off again. This time when she heard her mother's fretful calls, she tossed her head with defiance and kept on going. What kind of danger could she get into out here anyway? She only slid to a stop again when she saw the gold and white colt playing by a hole of sorts. Snorting in uncertainty since this was her first time seeing another horse, let alone another as small as she was, Raptor lifted her head as high as it would go, ears pricked and nostrils flared as she checked it out. Could he be dangerous? He smelled like the herd and he wasn't much bigger than her so maybe she could get away if needed, right? Deciding it was worth the risk, she called out to him and waited to see what he would do.
