Rules• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders. • Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission. • All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say. • Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met. • You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page. • Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce. |

-there is no honor among thieves
He scoffs at her first comment. The Fjord mare seems offended by his introduction and the calling of mare, but how could she be? "You are a mare are you not?" He asks with a laugh. She mentions the colt's name and he just snorts. He knew the colt's name from talking with his brother and he has seen the colt from afar, but this was the first time he has decided to interact with the mother of Zafar besides their first meeting in the commons. She would probably always hate him, but that was how it should be. "I honestly don't care what your name is." He says to her with blue eyes glaring into her own orbs of light. Her mouth begins to go again this time saying he should learn from his little brother. Cullen's eyes just roll as she continues on, but her subtle threat perks his attention.
Cullen's posture adjusts as his eyes narrow on the younger mare. If she wanted to threaten the Lagoon by taking away an important member he could make her remaining life here hell if he wanted. "Zafar's family is here. His uncles, your brother and myself, his father, his grandfather, and his cousin are all here so even if you leave and take him with you, he will return. Young colts can't always help the call of the Lagoon and this young lad has the Lagoon running deep through his veins." Even Adelia's brother was thriving here. Taking Zafar away form them all might spark a fight between mother and child later down the road. "So before you threaten me by taking away an honorary member think about your son. "
"He needs to be by his father and the rest of his family. If you don't agree with our values teach your own and let Zafar decide who he wants to be." His hoof stomps of the earth in front of the mare. He was plain tired of all these females thinking they could say whatever they wanted and get away with it. He was tired of these mothers forcing their sons to be what they wanted them to be. This is what the Lagoon was for, to serve the young colts and help their shape their own futures.
