Meadow

Force-claiming is not allowed here. This is a peaceful, neutral area meant for socialising.

Not all who wander are lost;

Talien needed a break.

So much had changed for her since the day her hooves found purchase upon the island shores, so much that sometimes she wondered could it all be real. Rape, anger, hate, sorrow, wisdom, love. All in the course of a single year's time. It was all so much.

Never did she dare to imagine that one the day she went to the meadows for some solitude, she would find him.

Dex.

His scent overwhelms her. A scent that she would never forget. He had been gone so long and yet she could distinguish it as easily as if it were her own.

She is confused at first. Pale silver blue eyes narrowed in confusion as again and again she inhales the scents brought to her upon the breeze. Could it be Dex? Was it a trick of her memory? It had been years since last she saw him and far far from these shores.

"Dex" his name plays upin her tongue as thoughts of solitude fall from her mind. She had to find him. Lithe limbs navigate the narrow trails through the wooded lands that twist and wound their way around the meadow. Small pointed ears swivel back and forth as she picks up bits and pieces of different conversations but they are none of them his voice.

There. A tenderness floods through her as she stops, her icy gaze upon his hansom form. Dex. He is just as she remembered him. Perhaps a few more scars. His dark mane tattered in places but he is the same. "Dex!" His name peels past her lips in a joyful voice as slender legs close the distance between them. "Dex..." She murmurs his name a whispered promise upon her lips now as tears threaten to spill from her gaze. Small muzzle reaches for him now, paper nostrils flared to inhale his testosterone thick scent and the odors familiar and new that cling to his skin. So long. It had been so long. "I thought I'd never see you again." She breathes blinking up to meet those jade colored eyes and feeling a renewed sense of comfort wash over her. He was here.
