She did not want to tell him how to behave. The only thing she had disliked was his insult to his own son. Her love for him was strong and she wanted to be back with him but she never could now, never could she be near him again like she wanted. Noctis was not dependent on his mother far from it. He loved his mother yes and would of loved for her to remain here. But Rougaru just killed any chance he had at possibly getting her back. Its not like Ruger was forcing his mother to stay in the Thicket. He watches her go and had glimpse the tears. He loved his father he did but he was just hurting his mother so much and it killed Noctis to see his mothers tears.
