He was ready to unleash everything onto this mare. He was ready to allow her young son to watch his mother die a brutal death at his hooves. He could force the boy to become cruel, a warrior of sorts, to take his father down. Bjorn would pay for abandoning his side at such a critical time. Bjorn planted this seed of fury and bloodshed, but he sits back in the shadows to watch it unfold. Just because he wasn't in the war doesn't mean his herd was safe.
Shaydowfax lands a retailiating nip on his cheek. It was quick with a small pinch to it, but he could feel the anger flowing through her. In any other situation, this would have intensified his own anger, but he was coming down from an adrenaline high. The war had his nerves sky rocketing and the swim to Salem and then here was a big energy burner. He squeals at her in anger, ears flattening, but he does no more. She speaks her fire, but her threats do not scare him. He had options now that he didn't have before.
"It was Bjorn who gave this war creation and now he sits back and watches like the master mind to the whole thing. I guess he is afraid to get his hooves dirty though he calls himself a warrior." Dark eyes look at the young boy. "Don't grow up to be your coward father. Be strong like your mother, but demand the respect of a real stallion." His eyes flutter between Shay and her son. "I do not plan on harming your son, not now at least, but I do what him to understand something before he leaves my home. Stallions are natural leaders and though you have been successful to a point, even you now have a stallion over you. I have nothing against the desert male I attacked, but defeating him was the perfect way to get to you. We have things to work out, Shaydowfax."
His tail flicks behind him in an aggitated way as he steps towards Shaydowfax and her child. His body snakes to dive her further inward. "To the woods for both of you. We have things to work out before I return to my war." Replies:
