Her ears pricked when she heard someone coming and her nostrils flared, more aware of her surroundings now that she had a young one at her side. Smelling the air, she recognized Shaydowfax and nickered softly in her direction, letting the other mare know that she could approach. Illusion trusted her to be near her new daughter. As Shaydowfax came into view, Illusion smiled upon seeing her son Sauron with her. He really was unique with his lack of ears, but Illusion didn't see it as a handicap. She just thought it made him more special. When the mare spoke, Illusion nodded and turned her head, looking at Raptor adoringly. "Yes, I do." She agreed. When Shaydowfax asked what her name was, Illusion turned back to meet her gaze, honestly curious of her opinion. "Raptor. I wanted to name her after her father, Kestrel." Did mares do that? Name their children after the father or should it be something different? She thought it fit the young filly but didn't want to say for sure until she really got to know her daughter. Her daughter. It still felt odd to think it. She was finally a mother.
