Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

a cleaved head no longer plots

Despite his sudden and abrupt gruffness (and that Minerva, if any other mare, should fume and spit) completely bursts out laughing at his question. Her peals are full-bellied and hearty as her eyes squeeze to slivers and she dips her head low. Min tried unsuccessfully to quell her laughter at his sourness.

After a few moments, she can quiet her thunderous laughter. Was Ivar always so cross? Minerva finds herself looking at the dark stallion with crinkled eyes as she still smiles at him. ”You daft beast, are you not comfortable in a woman’s company or is it a lack of experience?” Minerva tosses all inhibitors to the wind and teases him with her pale grin and water eyes.

Her gaze flickers to the hungry wolf and is mindful of the silver threads of drool that string from his hungry mouth. In a moment’s notice, she could be become a meal at Ivar’s command...but then why would he have bothered to bring her to the lagoon?

”Because my instincts told me you were the better choice.” Min had not appreciated the thicket queen’s poisoned words and premonitions but Min would dignify it with no response.

”And why did you come to me when there are so many others?” Her face sobers slightly as her smile fades. Did he want a debate? A challenge? Minerva was happy to have a civil discussion but she is aware she would leave if she pleases and not tolerate him berating her.
