~ the stars sighed in unison
A smile spreads across her pink lips.
"Its nice to meet you, Noctis," she says shyly as she nods her delicate crown. She watches as he turns his attention back to the sea and she steps up beside him. Her own brilliant blue eyes focus on the distant horizon, just beyond the whispering waves at lap at their hooves. She doesn't know what they are staring at, but Noctis is doing it...and he's older and he must know the reason. She waits impatiently as the seconds tick by, and she begins to fidget, shifting her weight from hoof to hoof.
Finally he talks again, but still stares wistfully in to the distance.
"Why would you wanna leave?" she muses aloud.
"Paradise is home, and its the only place I wanna be," she says with another nod of her crown. Yes, this place is home.
She does not understand the tension nor what all is going on... nor the turmoil between her father and Noctis' mother.
"Well, since you can't... let's doing something else," she says as she paws playfully at the surf as it froths at her hooves. Excitement begins to vibrate her delicately colored brown skin, she wants to frolic in the waves, and chase the brilliantly colored macaws. She turns her bright blue eyes to Noctis, wondering if he will abandon his plans to leave, and play with her in the waves.
