Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Kajika

Kajika moved with ease and without a stumble or catch on anything around him as he padded along, unlike the other wolf nearby. He was upwind of her at the time, so the brindled male was unaware of her presence at the moment. There were no uneasy feelings or fear in his gut, but it soon became quite clear he was not along amidst the falls trees that littered the crags. His ears twitched ever so slightly to the sound.

The sound made him think both distress and anger all at once. Kajika's brows furrowed slightly. The combination puzzled him. Was someone perhaps stuck and unable to free themselves? He was not a strong wolf in the traditional sense, built for speed and agility. He moved around things far easier than through them. His mind worked like that more and more as well. He remained somewhat cautious as he moved towards the source of the snarl. The dual colored male's steps were light and quick to help him be relatively unnoticed by the other. Just in case.

It was not long until he happened upon Myrria. She appeared to stare at a pool of water, though what she may have seen to cause such ire was beyond him. His cerulean gave observed the stranger for a moment. That was all it took. Kajika's eyes grew wide. There was a brief pang of fear, a memory of that day so long ago. He had never forgotten it though. Hell, he had even somewhat befriended and followed the other wolf that had been with her. Still, it was this one that had given proper chase. It was this one that had left the permanent reminder of their encounter.

At first glance, it was hardly noticeable, but closer inspection would reveal his right ear was not so smooth and curved like the left. Some places had healed nicely, but there was no mistake that a set of fangs had ripped through it at some point. She had done that. It had been a little bit of skill and a whole lot of luck that day. Still, Kajika's heart raced as he relived that moment. But what now? Did he run away or confront his former attacker? He took a small step backwards, which caused a branch to snap as his weight came onto it.

Well, there was no running now, for the woman had undoubtedly heard it. His focus now was to watch. His bright eyes remained fixated on Myrria. Her next actions would determine his own. Damn... Would she even remember that day as vividly as he did?
