It is often really difficult.
There is a good paper by Tuft that helps a little(!)
If the Ks are relatively normal or only mildly abnormal, then you can aim a little myopic and just cross your fingers and use the pentacam Ks.
If the Ks are completely abnormal, then you might be better off using standard Ks.
Remember to consent and that sulcus IOLs are your friend!
