as the light in me went dark

For the first time in a long time, there is something akin to fear building in the bottom of her frigid heart. There is no tension in his skin as she lunges at him. He does not balk away from her assaulting bites as she expected him to no. Instead his dark gaze is blank. There is a sinister gleam to his eyes as a smug smirk plays upon those scarred lips giving him an even more dangerous persona. He takes another stalking step towards her, his head dropping low and ears laced backwards amid the tangle of dark mane. He liked her struggle.

Every instinct in her body screamed for her to turn tail and run, take advantage of the endurance built into her bloodline and gain her freedom by fleet of foot. She takes another step backwards and stumbles over an upturned tree root. He does not need to be told twice. He takes the opportunity presented and shoulders into her, causing her to stumble again bruising her fetlock on a jagged rock. Pain seers through her leg as she tries to pivot away from him but there is a tree. A hiss rumbles past clenched teeth as she remembers once again that she is in an unfamiliar forest. This was not her mountain peaks. She squeals in outrage as his teeth clamp down onto the soft flesh of her shoulder, the weight of his form forcing her backwards once more on to the upturned beach. There are less horses now, the fight progressive further into the wooded landscape and those that did linger were caught up in the throws of war, ignorant to her struggle with the Lagoon stallion.

Sand sprays behind her as she digs her heels in and tries to rear only to be thrown backwards into the surf by his forceful frame. There is pleasure in his words as he presses his lips against her ears. The whites around her eyes widen now as he reveals his secret. "You killed her?" horror blinded her now as the surf drags her backwards, forcing her into deeper waters. She coughs, choking against the salty sea water as limbs fight against the current. "Your a monster!" she screams as the weight of his body forces her towards the ocean channel.

OOC: you can post a reply in the lagoon an we can continue there.
