This day was quickly going from boring to the best day ever. He had always asked mother when his sister and brother were coming to visit or why they did not live here in paradise with them but always she managed to redirect him with a new story or open ended promises of 'soon'. Never did he imagine that while his parents were away his sister would actually come.

Nostrils quiver with excitement as slender legs dance beneath him unable to contain the bubbling excitement that seemed to flood through every fiber of his being. The somber expression at the mention of Nattergal is lost to him, instead the young colt is enthralled by the possibility of meeting his older brother someday soon. His smile broadens. "Yes! Tell him to come and visit. I can show him my secret place too" he bubbles. She smiles at him and in her face he sees the gentle image of his mother. He missed her... and father... but they promised they would return soon. He hoped so.

A lobe flickers towards Noctis as he sighs, his gaze distant as he shrugs his shoulders and declines the offer. Small head cocks sideways but he does not pry. At least not in this moment. He had plenty of time to spend with Noctis later, Havelle was only here for a short time.

Despite himself his face fell at the idea of her leaving, but well at least he had some time to spend with her now. "OK well lets go then." he replies almost breathlessly. Slender legs wheel around to race on prancing legs down the narrow pathway leading towards the white sand beach. Nostrils quiver with excitement. "It would be so cool if mom and dad were here too. They come to the beach with me alot and play when its cool. Did they do that with you too when you lived here?" he asks, unable to stop the questions from pouring past his lips. "Why did you move away? Didn't you like it here?" he continues, oblivious to any sense of decorum or tact. "Mom and dad have not let me leave Paradise yet, they say I'm not old enough yet. I tried to tell them I am but they still said no. Hopefully when they come back they will let me. Maybe they will let me come visit you! That would be so cool wouldn't it?" he continues pausing now to let her catch up as they approach the shore. A smile plays upon his lips as fluffy black tail flicks back and forth. He jerks his head sideways as he jogs down the sandy dunes towards his spot.

Dad found it first, or so that is the story Akela is told. Rougaru told him about finding it when he first came to Atlantis long before he had a herd of his own. He had taken shelter here, with two other mares from the Peaks and a foal. Sometimes he wonders where those mares were or why they never came back. He could never imagine not coming home. He sighs contentedly as he steps gingerly over the porous rocks that jut out beyond the overhanging cavern. "Its safe here don't worry." he begins again prancing in a tight circle to turn back and face her with bright eyes. "It goes back a long way almost to the ridge, there is a small opening at the other end. Dad doesnt know I went all the way there before but I did" he breathes puffing out his chest in pride..
