Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

come with me,
the vast unknown awaits for us to see
something so deeply hidden, yet open before our eyes
It had been peaceful, just her lying in the water listening to the wind dancing through the leaves and sister river gently babbling away. Auri twitched her ears to the sound of paws approaching in the near distance. At first, she was pleased by the idea of meeting someone new and exchanging a few friendly words. But then another arrived, and then another, and then another. Auri's heart had pounded against her ribs before it leaped into her throat. She was not accustomed to being around so many wolves and a pack had materialized out of thin air around her. Quietly she had crawled into deeper water and wadded down stream, her nose barely above the waterline like some demented fury crocodile.

Crawling where she could and swimming when she could not, Auri traveled a considerable distance down the river until she deemed it safe to leave the safety of the waters. Gracefully she stepped onto the bank and shook her coat vigorously to expel as much of the water that clung to her as possible. Father sun was starting to sink below the horizon, sucking all the warmth from the world for today as he left. "Oh, please stay a little longer Father sun?" She whispered as her little damp frame began to shiver with cold.
