Re(4): COVID-19 fiasco

I�m not sure why the GMC is relaxing standards to allow final year medical students to get a provisional licence to practice without undertaking final examinations. Is this not a patient safety risk?
Why not ask them to submit verified evidence of at least 1000 pages and a fee of �1640 to prove equivalence and then do the exam next year to show they are up to �standard�
