She could feel the power thrumming just beneath his skin, practically sense it in the crackle of the air between them as he watched her. She knew the beast lay just under the surface and she hungered for its release as she always did. Zjeena may be the one to see his softer side, his loving side, but she would always prefer what she considered his true self, the king he kept buried far too much for her liking. This was the stallion she met in the Common on her first day here. The beast who wanted to claim her and tame her in all ways. The leader who hungered to show her who was boss. That was the stallion she chose to follow, the suitor she let take her virtue and give her a strong filly. That was HER Rougaru. She saw the masks he put on for others, the sweet caring Romeo who made them feel special. They could have all the hearts and flowers but she would always prefer the beast. They were not the couple who made your heart melt. No, they were the passion that burned the pages of the very book written for them, the dark promises that seduced you and kept you curled up in a corner so others couldn't see the satisfying way it affected you. They were the oxygen-devouring flames that could conquer the world if they wanted to, the darkness that could burn out every candle and snuff out any and all sources of light. Every mark he left on her flesh, every sharp hoof slanted her way only excited her. Though she didn't need to say it out loud, Rougaru knew that she would do anything for him and vice versa. Words didn't need to be said for they were creatures of actions. She would always tease him, scratching at his nerves till he released his inner demons for her to savor to her heart's content. Only then would she ever be truly satisfied. She courted him and flaunted her body, knowing he wanted a taste. With the autumn air bringing a pleasurable chill to her skin, she knew it was only a matter of time before his control snapped. And that's exactly what she wanted. She called to him, begged for the chase she knew he would give her. Flicking an ear back, she could hear him in hot pursuit and it only lent more heat to her skin, more fire to her pace. She lingered just out reach, tempting him to take her as she knew he could. He gave her that grin and she tugged her own lips into a responding smirk, arching her neck as she tossed her head with mischeveous eyes. She let him step toward her, her muscles quivering with pent up energy, just waiting for that sweet release. He said that he earned the privilege and she tilted her head, arching a brow as she snorted. "Oh? Do tell, lizard king. What almighty tasks have you completed to earn such favor? I daresay you're asking for a handout." Her words jested and taunted at him, knowing they would only continue to push that control. She used the special nickname she'd given him from their first encounter when she took a liking to his majestic green eyes, so exotic and reptile-like. She knew it was killing him to be this close to her and yet not touching but she would continue to hold out until she got him exactly where she wanted him. He started to close the distance and she bided her time, allowing the strides between them to close...for now. As he angled his body toward her, that's when she took the opportunity, ducking away with a squeal as she kicked out her back legs in warning before running a tight circle to turn back and face him. Her eyes still taunted him even as she tossed her head again. "I enjoy a king who takes what he wants. I enjoy MY king." Glancing around for a moment, she looked back at him with a sneer, her voice a low purr as her ears folded back again. "I'll let you know when I see him."
