It's not long before the palomino lead of the herd approaches, and while Siobhan does not see any untoward expression on the mare's face, she becomes even more hyper aware of her position against Bjorn. Sheer stubbornness, perhaps, leads her not to move, considering the mare is on the opposite side of the grullo stallion. Still, she hardly has time to consider this as the mare is already talking battle plans and time tables.

It is a sobering thought, thinking of what could have befallen the two that had disappeared. She wasn't sure of Isabel's age, but Sio wouldn't put it past them to rape her even if she wasn't fertile.

The mares words make her feel like a coward, as though staying behind was the wrong choice in this matter. A thoughtful frown creases her lips and her ears tick back uncertainly. Siobhan would be glad to fight for the children, to punish the spiteful Lagoon residents for their cruelty, but she lacked the experience and ability that the other three possessed.

Bjorn praises Ysabel's guidance in the matter and Sio can feel the pull to join the fight more acutely. Which was the greater evil? Throwing a weak point into the fray, or denying even trying to help? She remains silently introspective as Elvira speaks as well, throwing her hat into the ring and calling out the fact that she, too, was carrying Bjorn's child. Siobhan couldn't blame any of them for wanting something of Bjorn to call their own and she smiles to herself at the thought.

The filly bubbles and then quickly goes flat as she mentions her grandfather's death, a thought that brings a frown to Siobhan's face. Everything about that day would have lasting effects. She could only hope these ripples didn't turn into waves that would drown them all.

This thought hardens the nascent resolve in her heart and she bobs her head, raising her gaze to Ysabel's and then settling on Bjorn's. "I will go with, if more bodies will be of help. I'm afraid I can't contribute much in the way of battle skills, though I am doing my best to improve."
