any other name would smell as sweet

She didn't know what she was going to do. Father's disapproval of her situation was one thing, but now she was in full control of her destiny. She could decide to return to her birth home or go back to the stallion she defends. Her heart was in shambles trying to decide her next course of action because if she did go back to Cain would father ever forgive her? She would be disowned? She thinks she might actually wait in the thicket a bit longer for Ruger to show up so she could talk with him. She didn't know how long Ruger would be so it wasn't long before she grew stircrazy.

She guessed the next course of action she should take was just a simple stroll away from Luthein. Away from the distant war screams, away from her family, and away from the mare who forced her from the Desert. "Stay here Paisley. I will return soon, but I don't want you swimming without me so stay put." The filly pouts with her bottom lip pushed out per usual. Prim just sighs, gives her daughter a bump of her muzzle, and begins to submerge her body into the cold sea. She stops to take one look back at her daughter who snorts from the beach. "Go play with that colt or something!" She calls back to her young daughter, but the girl just responds in a rear of protest. Primrose chuckles, but continues she swim anway.

The water was too cold to swim of long, but she keeps on until she reaches the beach of the meadow. She has never truly been here before so exploring a new place would be fun. Plus, she was sure to find some distraction from her current position in life. She shakes what loose water she could from her coat as the cold wind shakes her bones. She had forgotten how cold winter could be from her last year on Salem and her winter coat was taking a while to start up. The palomino found herself freezing and seeking the warmth of others rather quickly. This is when the group comes to her attention and she strides towards them with a smile, wet lips quivering.

There was a draft large mare who was currnetly introducing herself to the group. Primrose wonders if they were all stranger. She nickers as she nears and steps besides the painted mare hoping the woman didn't mind to share some warmth. Typically, she wasn't so social because of her shy nature, but recent events have caused her to be more bold. Maybe it was confident or perhaps she was just changing with age. "I hope I'm not intruding, but I recently left the sea and require some warmth. As you can see my coat is too thin for the winter's chill." Curse Salem's warmer climate for causing this, but she never expected to be on the main island.
