Meadow

She had left her brother as soon as he had found something shiny to entertain him for a while, and for the first time in a long time she moved along alone, without her living shadow kicking up dust beside her. It was refreshing - moreso than she'd ever admit to her twin, for fear of offending him - he could be sensitive that way, though when he wished to be left alone he had no trouble telling her so. The thought caused Aenea to huff quietly to herself, her dark eyes rolling momentarily as she slowed her gait to a steady trot. Her ears were alert - listening out for any cry of despair from her brother should he suddenly need her to swoop in and whisk him away from his newfound object of infatuation. Somehow, she didn't expect to be needed anytime soon.

Just as she was wistfully thinking of her brother's social interactions, a dark figure appeared on the horizon. His sleek figure caught her attention - he looked young, like her - dashing enough for her to pick up a brisker pace towards him again, an intrigued smile painting her amber face with glee. Before too long, she was a spitting distance from him, and rather than slow to a halt, she trotted in a wide arch around him, letting the sound of her hooves catch his attention rather than speaking from a poised stance and potentially catching him off guard had he not noticed her before.

"Hi', she whispered, her eyes glinting with mischief as she gently slowed down to a walk and curved around him until she was directly in front of the colt's face. Looking decidedly pleased with her entrance, she stopped, her head tilted as she addressed him with a quizzical expression on her delicate face. "You come here often?"
