"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

as the light in me went dark

Khar had taken to spending much of her time alone in the lagoon now. Raider was never far from her, no doubt afraid she would make a run for it, which of course she would given the chance. He seemed content now to let her roam unaccompanied, especially since the heat of autumn was far behind them and the sides of her barrel already began to swell with what was no doubt his offspring. How she wished she could deny it and put the doubt in his mind. However he had been true to his word, he shadowed each step she took until the heat fled her body. Only then was she deserving of less surveliance.

Ears flicker forward now as the sound of battling horses flood her ears. For a moment confusion floods her mind. Had the battle come full circle? Were the peak mares and their alliances here beating back the hotheaded stallions?

Paperthin nostrils quiver as she lifts her muzzle to the gently blowing winds. No. There is no familiar scent aside from Raider and the other lagoon stallions. Surely a battle so fierce would not be fought among associates? It was not uncommon for the mares of the peak to spar but there was never any screams of rage or dertermination to wound. Curiosity got the best of her now and Khar navigates her foal laden frame down the winding path. Flashes of white and the familiar blue smoke frame of Raider come into view. Pale silver eyes glitter with amusement. Raider was getting his ass handed to him by the mare nearly as swollen with child as herself.

Adrenaline surged through her veins as Khar stepped into sight for a better view. There was no allegiance, no love for Raider. She would not rush to his side in defense. Instead she was here to aid the unknown woman should it appear the bastard might gain the upper hand. She stops short of the warring beasts ears pressed forward in intrigue. Despite herself a cocky smile slides across her lips, thoroughly amused as his blood began to coat the breeze with its metallic tang. He would fall this day.
