He expected her to be angry, hit him even, but she didn't. He had almost wanted her to because maybe it would snap him back into gear. Maybe he could channel that rage inside him like he had with the Friesian that tried to take the rest of his family away. No, he didn't want to think about that...he winches as the mare yells, but something strange happens. Blue eyes flick up to meet her gaze as her sentence cuts short. His ears flicker curiously as something odd crosses her face. Suddenly emotion hurried to her features as they threatened to take hold of her.
Roheryn stares in confusion at what was going on as words explode from her lips. She was looking for someone...the irony pings his heart. It wasn't that long ago that he was desperately searching for someone. She shows a sudden moment of vulnerability, but in a blink of an eye, she changed again. He swore he caught sight of her legs shaking, but now she stands strong and confident. "Who are you looking for?" He says softly, but in the next instant, her eyes have moved on. Iris?, a new voice lifts into the air and sends the stallion's head turning in the seal brown mare's direction. Just like that the original mare he had been talking to speaks another name.
His eyes go back and forth between the two as he watches their reunion. His heart flutters as he recalls the day Shamwari came to him and told him Prim was found. He remembers clearly (as it was not long ago) as he finds his sister again after months after her sudden disappearance. The mare, Iris he thinks, looks at him with a look of thanks. He was confused by it, but he wasn't about to question whatever good feelings she had at this moment. From the moment of weakness he saw before to now, he knew she would be happy. He watches the back and forth gaining bits and pieces of knowledge about the two.
They were sisters, or so he gathered, and the joy between the two of them was a sight to see. Tears and laughter fill the air in his silence. Until it got a little awkward to be the third wheel. "Iris? Eve?" He questions their names as he bobs his head at each one with a smile. "I apologize for bumping into you. I was a little lost in my head." He addresses who he assumes is Iris before turning his eyes on Eve. "I'm honored to be apart of you two finding each other even if we have only just met. I have been in a similar situation quite recently so I understand how both of you feel." He was truly excited for the pair and it made him want to go visit his cousin.
