He nods as she thanks him, and a smirk tugs at his lips. Icy blue eyes take in her fiery skin, it is a sharp contrast from the muted and dull colors of the meadow that surrounds them. Her eyes pry into his, almost as if they search his soul. His glacial gaze remains glued to hers, until finally she spoke of why she was here. Her father. He tilts his crown slightly as she begins to tell him of her father and how he had once lived here. Without thinking he begins to nod. He had been born to these Isles and left to follow his father for some time, a few years later he returned to make claim on his own land but drawn away once again. There is a draw to these Isles that draws him back. It is a mysterious quality that calls to his heart.
"Yes, this place does hold something over me as well," he nods. Maybe it is the opportunity to start anew? Or the call to rekindle old memories? Or it is a mixture of both?
"It draws me back, no matter how many times I have left this land for the Norðurland," the last word is thick on his tongue and his heart. His memories flicker to his own father, and the memories they had created together... but he knew that he had to return to the Isles, to see for himself what had become of his birthplace. Even if his father refused to ever return to this place.
"Which of the Islands call to you the most? The frigid, but majestic mountains of Tinuvel? The vast searing deserts of Salem?" he asks with a tilt of his crown. "Or do you crave the pristine beaches of Atlantis? Or the dense Forest of Luthien?"
He knows he asks a myriad of questions, but they help to piece together this mysterious woman.
