I don't quite understand what this instructor is getting at about using 9 Sqn as an example of what not to do. Forming gunships was part of progression in not having to rely on US support. The Bushranger gunships certainly proved their worth and Robbo please explain the issue of returning with more aircraft than were on the books. Replies:
