Falls

It wasn't like him to leave a new mare behind, but Ironclad had thought Valka was following the whole time. A large grin stuck to his lips as he hummed happily in his travels, but he had reached the Inlet shore and finally looked behind him to see...no one. Valka had not followed. Frustration crosses the colt so he seeks the advice of his father who tells him to go after her. Ironclad had enough trouble with mares at his age to be dealing with any more, but Warsaw assures him he would never get any respect by letting the mare do as she pleased. He wonders if maybe that mare Sighurd had convinced Valka of something.

He swims hastily back towards the commons but finds her gone. The dark colt begins searching the main island for her until he comes across a peculiar scene. Liland, the Bay's Earl, and his mare were...doing what exactly he didn't know, but he did see Valka affectionately grooming him. The stout mare has yet to show him such affections in yet here she was cuddling up to the neighbor next door! Anger quickly bubbled up in the colt as he storms towards them with heavy legs making a lot of racket. "Him? You like him?" He yells, glaring at the small mare. "I know you can't understand me, but this stallion is a coward! A coward!" His gaze quickly turns to Liland with dark ears pinning.

"What do you think you are doing Liland? Are you attempting to take my mare from me? The mare of your Prince? Valka deserves someone better than the likes of you. She deserves someone who isn't afraid to fight for his kingdom. You didn't lift a hoof to help in the war and if you had my father might be in a better position." He hadn't taken his anger out on Cherokee as he had wished, but this seemed much easier. Valka could not understand everything he was saying (though Liland could tell her seeing as they spoke a similar and language) and Liland was an ally who let his Kingdom down. Warsaw told his son Liland had already mentioned not wanting to be in the war, but at the same time, he begged for Warsaw to talk sense into Rougaru.

There were so many facts twisted into the situation that it made Liland untrusty worthy and seem only in things for himself. Ironclad assumes he only agreed to Warsaw's kingship because he allows him to keep the Bay. His eyes turn back to Valka now and then to Liland again. "I thought I heard you spitting some of Valka's language to her just now. You tell her I don't take kindly to mares who sneak around behind my back and that I will find a new home for her. I don't have time for another untrusty worthy mare as I'm sure you understand." His eyes narrow on Liland before he turns away from them with a snort.

There was no reason to talk to either of them again so the colt storms off in a fit of anger and hurt back towards the sea.
