She presses herself against him and closes her eyes. How many night had she dreamed of this moment? Just to feel his flesh against hers, to smell his musky scent, and to hear his voice whisper her name. A content sigh escapes her lops as the moments peacefully pass by until finally he is ready to speak. She pulls her delicate crown back so that she can gaze into his eyes as he stutters over his words.
She's here. Our daughter. His shock is written across his face and his words are laborious as he speaks. She can feel her heart thunder in her chest and a warmth spreads through out her body. "Yes," she whispers into the still air. She is here. And she is perfect. A breath catches in her throat as she thinks of their daughter, her vibrant eyes and soft voice.
"She is in Paradise," she informs him with a soft smile on her lips. Her ears flick atop her head as she notices the nervous twitch and the way his voice falters, and her heart stills in her chest. Did he feel guilt for leaving? How could she blame him? She had left as well. Life had drawn her away from the familiar shores and to the main land... he has no fault in her eyes. "And I think she would."
A light laugh leaves her lips at his next words, but it is short lived as he begins to ask for her forgiveness. His face grows somber and his words sad on his lips. She dares to reach her pink lips to his skin once again, her nose lingers for a moment and she listens to his words. To her name on his lips. "I do... I do know that you never wanted to," she pauses as she draws her face back to his. "I don't blame you nor am I angry with you."
"I have missed you," she finally admits.
